ADULT REGISTRATION- NATIONAL LEARN TO ROW DAY OPEN HOUSE

Join us to celebrate Celebrate National Learn to Row Day at our Annual Open House on Long Pond Beach, 213 Long Pond Drive, Harwich. Participants will have the opportunity to meet club members, row on an ergometer (a rowing machine), view our equipment, learn about sweep and scull rowing, and try rowing on the water. Please wear tight fitting athletic clothes. Rain/high wind date June 2.

U-23 Membership

U-23 membership is open to collegiate rowers who want to keep training in the summer at Long Pond. U-23 members may have the opportunity to be assistant coaches in the youth and/or masters programs to have fee waived. A USRowing basic membership is required.

ADULT MEMBERS ONLY COACHED ROWS

Adult members only coached rows provide an opportunity to experience, and develop skills in both sweep and sculls.

This new program will be coached by Bob Brady on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday the weeks of June 3, 10, July 8, 15, 29, and August 5, 12. Lisa Evans will coach on Saturday July 6, 13, and 20. Classes will alternate between single sculls and team boats. Members are limited to one single scull coached row and one team boat coached row per week. TeamSnap sign up is required.

YOUTH Learn To Row for Beginners

This session is for new rowers who have yet to row on the water and want to join in on the fun!

This session is for new rowers who have yet to row on the water and want to join in on the fun! The 5-day LTR Clinic is a fun and comprehensive introduction to sculling designed for beginners. Participants learn boat safety, boat set-up, balance, and basic strokes, using CCCR recreational shells. A "Basic" level USRowing membership is REQUIRED. Our Club name is Cape Cod Community Rowing, Inc., and Club Code is RVYJL. The cost is $25.00 for the year and is necessary for insurance coverage. Please keep a record of your login name, password and USRowing number as you will need this information in the future.

YOUTH SUMMER MEMBERSHIP for Experienced Rowers

This membership for experienced rowers who have participate in CCCR programs in the past 2 years want to get extra time on the water this summer.

This membership is for July 1st-August 31st and available for experienced rowers who have participated in at least 2 of the CCCR programs in the past 2 years want to get extra time on the water this summer. A coach will be available to go on the water with the youth rowers M/W/F from 6:30am-8:00am with a a mix of available boats.

This session is for new rowers who have yet to row on the water and want to join in on the fun!

Prerequisites: Learn to Row This class is open to rowers who have completed LTR and are ready to row independently in a single shell. Rowers will continue to develop proficiency in rowing technique and moving the shell efficiently on the water.

This session is for new rowers who have yet to row on the water and want to join in on the fun!

Prerequisites: Novice singles Open to all rowers with previous experience in rowing single shells and will help rowers continue to develop proficiency in rowing technique and moving the shell efficiently on the water. This class can be taken multiple weeks to build upon previous knowledge, comfort levels and rowing skills.

Prerequisites: Learn to Row This class will introduce experienced scullers to sweep rowing. This type of rowing uses one oar instead of two and is the main focus of high school rowing.
